Dan Phillip’s article in our Fall issue, The Rights and Wrongs of HSIA, discusses the industry’s history with high-speed Internet access. As guests’ demand increases for more bandwidth what if any changes should the industry make to address the concerns brought up in the article?

13 % --- Nothing should change, the current structure works just fine

56.5 % --- Shared bandwidth, capped at something like 256K, should be free while guaranteed, higher speeds should be charged

17.4 % --- Higher bandwidth should remain free to guests but be supported by higher rooms rates

13 % --- Higher bandwidth should remain free to guests but be supported by advertising
