Trust International Launches Japanese Language Central Reservation System for Hotels

August 26, 2010 - Trust International’s popular yourVoyager Central Reservation System (CRS) for hotels is now available in Japanese, making it one of the first comprehensive Japanese language CRSs available for both domestic and international reservations.

The new Japanese language version is the first of several Asian language versions being developed by Trust, and marks a substantial investment in the rapidly expanding Asian travel industry for the company.

“Japan is a very important market for Trust International. We are building a strong foundation for growth with both existing and new customers in this market as demonstrated by our launch of the customized version of yourVoyager and the concurrent development of several other solutions,” said Richard Wiegmann, managing director, Trust International.

Trust launched yourVoyager just 10 months ago and almost immediately began developing a comprehensive Japanese version. Today’s launch raises the bar in the industry for local-language systems.

“As a truly international business partner, we’re rolling out the Japanese language release in record time, and expect to soon announce releases in other Asian languages,” Mr. Wiegmann said.

Trust’s yourVoyager fully supports multibyte character sets that enable data entry and content display in Japanese for all aspects of the reservation process, including room and rate details entered in the hotel-based CRS. Trust’s fully customized booking solution includes all features adapted for local Japanese requirements. For example, Japanese guests’ names will appear in Kanji and/or Hiragana.

Rather than merely offering the industry norm of translated static text, Trust is the first to translate all other free flow text, text boxes, confirmations, statistics and reports in Japanese and Chinese characters, including Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana.

Japanese hotel groups and hotel groups with Japanese partners now can rely fully on their Japanese version of yourVoyager CRS. It is easy for Japanese sales staff to use and eliminates the need for English translators to obtain data and information from the CRS.
