eRevMax Recertified for ISO/IEC 27001:2005

August 31, 2010 - eRevMax Technologies, a pioneer in hotel online distribution, channel and revenue management tools, has been recertified for its information security management standards.

Following a stringent audit overseen by DNV, an internationally accredited certification organization, eRevMax received ISO/IEC 27001:2005 for the next three years. The initial certification was achieved in 2007.

The ISO 27001:2005 is awarded to companies that conform to the strict maintenance of the information security management system (ISMS), and enable secure sharing of information within organizations. The certification recognizes that the product brands - RateTiger and SimpleDistribution – are compliant with international and local security best practices. 

With effective ISMS implementation, eRevMax continues to identify and address all the key information security risks with appropriate mitigation and contingencies to ensure smooth business operations.

This certification further proves our commitment to provide our customers with the highest standard of information security and data management. Hotels using our benchmarking or channel management solutions can be assured that data stored or transmitted is processed through secured networks. Our conscious implementation of robust and effective processes ensures complete privacy and accuracy of all their data.”

In December 2009, the company implemented credit card data security policy according to PCI guidelines and was awarded the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certification.
