EasyRMS Enjoys Continued Expansion in Growing South American Market

September 02, 2010 - Continuing its ongoing expansion into South America, an exciting new contract with a major Chilean hotel chain has established Easy (Ez) Revenue Management Solutions Ltd (EzRMS) as a leading RMS provider in the region.

Enjoy Casino & Resort is a leading company in Chile's gaming and entertainment industry, with five modern and distinctly different resorts in all the major tourist destinations in the country. The properties in Chile are Enjoy Antofagasta, Enjoy Coquimbo, Enjoy Viña del Mar, Enjoy Pucón, Enjoy Puerto Varas, Casino Enjoy Santiago, Casino de Colchagua and Enjoy Mendoza, in Argentina.

With a total of 385 rooms, Enjoy's five prestigious hotels are Hotel del Desierto, Hotel de la Bahía, Hotel del Mar, Gran Hotel Pucón and Hotel de los Volcanes. Each will now benefit from implementation of the EzRMS™ revenue management suite, following a selection and decision process that took almost two years to complete.

Initial contact with the hotel and casino operator was first made at the Eye for Travel conference back in 2007, when the revenue management team from Enjoy came to the United States to investigate RMS options for their growing casino operation. Phil Robart, EasyRMS director of sales and operations - North America said, "The team then spent over 12 months evaluating the product options before deciding which system would best suit their needs, and EzRMSâ„¢ was the solution they chose."

The chain has implemented the complete EzRMSâ„¢ SaaS suite, as well as extraction and upload interfaces for OPERA V5 PMS, and the upload interface to NETRez.

Robart said, "We were certainly thrilled to learn that the team at Enjoy had selected EasyRMS as their partner. They invested a great deal of time and effort into their research of the various options to ensure they had the right system. Certainly the capabilities of our integration with OPERA were a key element in this decision as well as their recognition of our superior functionality in regards to all aspects of group quoting and forecasting - an important component of their business."

Martín Fuentes, director of revenue management for the group, said that EzRMS™ was chosen for its extensive functionality as well as the great relation between price and quality. "This was by far the best software for us," he said. "Considering that we are not a huge company like a major airline that uses the RM philosophy, we are still a hotel chain, and we need all the reports and accuracy of software such as this."

"I think that this new tool will greatly improve our performance, considering that we used to make our revenue management optimization decisions based on experience, using as the main tool the knowledge of the business acquired so far. With EzRMSâ„¢ we will have quantitative criteria to support our decisions," said Fuentes.

Enjoy Casino & Resort is one of the largest casino operators in Chile. The contract has quickly established EasyRMS as a leading RMS player in South America, with installations in most major centers, including Santiago, Rio de Janerio, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. EasyRMS intends to continue signing new clients in this growing region.
