Weekly Commission Processing for Participating Hotels Arrives

Pegasus’ latest enhancement to the world’s leading hotel commission processing system was launched in the first quarter of 2005. Hotels that participate in Pegasus’ commission processing service now have the ability to process commission payments in the frequency of their choice - ranging from weekly to monthly.

Several chains have already made the transition to weekly processing, including Marriott, Hilton, Omni, Rosewood and Utell by Pegasus member hotels.

More than 27,000 U.S. hotels participate in Pegasus Commission Processing.

Independent Hotels Continue Selecting Unirez by Pegasus™ Service for Web and GDS Distribution

In 2004, more than 1,600 decided to implement the Unirez by Pegasus service to drive automated distribution to GDSs and the Internet. The trend has continued into 2005, with more than 250 hotels in locations ranging from Fiji to South Africa already implemented. Hotels in Spain and Italy alone accounted for more than 70 installs in the first quarter, using the self-service tool kit that delivers instant GDS and Web distribution with a host of reporting and management options. Some other prominent properties that signed on include:

  • Meadow Lake Resort, Mont. 
  • Anaheim Park Hotel, Calif. 
  • Mimosa Hotel & Spa, Miami Beach, Fla. 
  • The Powell Hotel, San Francisco, Calif.
