HOUSING RESERVATIONS:

Reservation group rate deadline is March 7, 2023, 5 p.m. Eastern time.

Room Rate: $219.00 USD (plus taxes and fees)

Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and may sell out. 


PLANNING YOUR TRIP:

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is located approximately 13 miles from the Loews New Orleans Hotel.

Average temperatures for the New Orleans area in late March are high 74° / Low 55°.

DRESS CODE: 
We have none. We've decided sport coats and button downs are overrated. Dress for the entire conference is casual.  Rich will probably wear jeans or maybe even shorts if the weather is nice enough.


ARRIVAL TIME FOR PRE-CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES:

The 2023 EVS is will begin Wednesday at 11:00 am with a pre-conference activity. Those arriving Tuesday night are invited to a kick-off dinner at 6:30 pm Tuesday, location TBD.

The EVS program officiallly opens for registration at 5:00 pm Wednesday in Parish Hall.  A First-Timer Attendee Reception will take place at 6:00 pm, followed by an all-attendee reception at 6:30 and the famous HU Icebreaker at 6:45 pm.


DEPARTURE TO THE AIRPORT March 31, 2023:
The EVS program will officially conclude on Friday morning with the CIO Panel session and finishes at 11 am. In order to better accommodate departure schedules and give attendees more flexibility when booking flights, Hospitality Upgrade is using LYFT!

EVS attendees will be able to use an exclusive Lyft coupon code to take a Lyft to the New Orleans International Airport.
 
The code will be active from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023.
Hospitality Upgrade will cover trips up to $30.00 USD*.
 
If you already have the Lyft app, simply enter the Lyft code given in the Promos section of the Lyft app. Once the code is accepted, it will appear in the 'Promos' tab and you will be able to see the details of the code, such as time restrictions, location restrictions, how many times it can be used, and how much credit you have left.
