PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Inc. (PSMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation and a leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems, is announced several key management changes.

Robert Selwah has joined PSMS as it’s new director of development, reporting to Karen Stewart, vice president of software services. In this role, Selwah will work closely with customers, installation and training, sales, marketing and support services to drive the development of existing SMS|Host and related products. Selwah has over 15 years of experience managing information technology and software development for KPMG and ACNielsen in Toronto, Ontario.

“Rob’s background and experience managing complex development projects for both international and domestic customers is an excellent fit for our organization,” commented John Springer-Miller, president and CEO of PAR Springer-Miller Systems. “We look to Rob to continue to grow and enhance the suite of SMS|Host products.”

With Selwah leading development on existing PSMS products, Sophie Grigg moves into the newly created position of vice president of advanced technology. Grigg’s time will be dedicated to the evaluation and adoption of all new technologies by PSMS. In addition, she will oversee the design and development of all underlying product infrastructure. Grigg has been with PAR Springer-Miller for six years, her most recent role as vice president of research and development. In addition to managing all aspects of product development for PSMS as the vice president of research and development, Grigg has also been instrumental in PAR Springer-Miller’s involvement with the Hospitality Technology Next Generation organization (HTNG), including the certification of both SMS|Host and SpaSoft Spa Management Software as HTNG-compliant applications.

“Having led the development of advanced PSMS product technologies over the past several years such as SMS|Diplomat, SMS|World XA and HTNG certification, Sophie is ideally suited to this new venture,” remarked John Springer-Miller. “She has my trust and confidence in her success to lead our efforts in the continual evolution of our own products as well as promoting advances in the broader hospitality technology arena.”
