Kaba Lodging Systems is Now Two Strong Brands

The KABA Group announced a new corporate structure for its North American hospitality and lodging group.

This structure introduces Kaba Lodging Systems (KLS) as the managing organization for both the ILCO and SAFLOK brands.

KLS chose to use the ILCO brand name after conducting targeted market research. The name carries with it a legacy of success. ”It has a well-established, positive market reputation. Customers are loyal to it and to this date still ask for ILCO by name,”  said Kerry Hirschy, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Kaba Lodging Systems.

The companies will continue to develop integration plans that will complement technologies, address each market segment, and identify best practices from both operations. The brands will take a business as usual course; no distruption to current product lines, infrastructure, and path to market.

The new KLS management structure consists of Eddy Rosenberg as vice president and general manager, Kerry Hirschy as senior vice president of sales and marketing, David Ginn as vice president of sales for the SAFLOK brand, and John Sarrouf as the vice president of sales for ILCO.

According to Kaba Lodging Systems Vice President and General Manager Eddy Rosenberg, “The decision to proceed with this strategy was greatly influenced by the added value that it would bring to our customers who will now have access to a significantly increased range of product, as well as opportunities to combine solutions from both brands.”

KLS’ focus on this administrative adjustment has not distracted the company from maintaining its commitment to new product development. The company will continue to deliver cutting-edge and technologically advanced solutions.

In addition to creating new products, the KLS name is synonymous with quality customer support and service excellence. Both brands are recognized for having solid after-market programs. “When customers purchase our products they are getting a full range of after-sales services,” said Rosenberg. “Hoteliers can remain confident and assured that we will continue to offer best-in-class solutions that help them achieve guest safety, comfort and convenience, and keep their guests brand loyal.”
