BMW Management Inc., the nation's largest Sizzler franchisee, is deploying a point-of-sale (POS) solution from NCR Corporation in 14 of its Sizzler restaurant locations throughout California.
Fields Consulting Group Inc., a Phoenix-based NCR reseller, is responsible for the sale and installation of the solution, which will be completed this month. The solution includes NCR RealPOS 70 terminals and NCR RealPOS thermal receipt printers. Fields Consulting will provide services and support.
"Sizzler is a long-established and well-loved hospitality brand that delivers great steaks, seafood and salad with the value and fast service customers have come to expect," said Gary Myers, president and chief executive officer of BMW Management Inc. "As a rapidly growing franchisee, we found NCR's long history of outstanding service and best-in-class solutions to be the obvious choice for our point-of-sale solution."
Reliable and secure, the NCR RealPOS 70 is built to provide years of dependable operation. Designed for ease of service, components are readily accessible for repairs and upgrades. This simplified serviceability reduces system downtime and provides superior terminal availability.
"Used by restaurants worldwide, the NCR RealPOS 70 POS draws upon 120 years of POS experience to meet the unique challenges of the hospitality industry," said Jason Fields, vice president of Fields Consulting Inc. "We are pleased to provide BMW with such a reliable and easy-to-manage POS system, as well as proven software and support."
