iPass Inc. announced that Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc., has selected iPass to provide its area managers with simple, secure access to the Internet and their corporate network over any connection.

Arby’s will deploy the iPass Corporate Access™ service, allowing area managers in the United States and Canada to stay connected as they travel to over 1,000 store locations and permitting executives to gain global connectivity as they travel the world.

The iPass solution for Arby’s integrates seamlessly with its existing network infrastructure and enables its IT team to quickly detect and troubleshoot remote and mobile network connection problems, ensuring that users remain productive.

"Our team is very pleased with the iPass solution," said David Lipscomb, director, infrastructure, for Arby’s.  “Not only is the iPass service simple and intuitive to use, but iPass has also integrated easily with our existing technology architecture and security infrastructure. Our IT department loves the new system because it makes it easy to control costs and track users with high or pressing demands for the service."

After carefully examining options, Arby’s selected the iPass solution to replace its existing remote access systems.  Arby’s chose iPass Corporate Access because of its lower cost, the impressive iPass global footprint and the ease of use of the iPassConnect™ universal client.

“By using iPass, the Arby’s management team can stay connected and accomplish more, regardless of location,” said Joel Wachtler, vice president of marketing and strategy at iPass. “Arby’s gets coverage in the places where they need it most; a single, simple interface that automates securing connections to corporate applications; and detailed management tools that increase control over both cost and security.”
