Squirrel Systems will be hosting its 2007 Conference from September 20 – 23 at the Sheraton Wall Center in Vancouver, Canada.
The event is scheduled to coincide with the market introduction of SquirrelOne, Release 5, Squirrel’s latest major release. This new version, Squirrel’s guest experience management (GEM) initiative, is a combination of tools with the award-winning SquirrelOne Point of Sale System at the foundation.
Continuing the legacy of Squirrel’s human factors approach to designing user interfaces, SquirrelOne now comes with a table layout interface that allows managers, hosting staff and servers to use a realistic restaurant floorplan as their main user interface. Powerful on its own, this version of SquirrelOne shifts into high gear through integration with Squirrel’s reservation and waitlist and customer relationship management modules. Finally, integration with Open Table for on-line reservations and Kudzu for online ordering takes managing the guest experience to the next level.
Squirrel attendees, including resellers, direct sales staff, key vendors and many Squirrel clients will be treated to a three-day program including product introductions and demonstrations, a mini trade show comprised of Squirrel products, integration partner products as well as a variety of fun, networking events sponsored by Squirrel partners EPSON, POWERVAR, POSIFLEX & RBSLYNK. The schedule includes a golf tournament at the spectacular Furry Creek, an appearance by comedian Chris Bliss and much more.
Other sponsors of this event include; Time Management, Mercury Payments, QSR Automations, Ingenico, Heartland Payments and Southern DataComm.
The event will culminate with a client-driven product session where Squirrel customers have the opportunity to discuss their requirements for future versions of Squirrel.
