Yahoo! Canada and Online Revealed Canada Conference Form Strategic Marketing Partnership

Online Revealed Canada, one of Canada’s authorities on Internet marketing education has entered into a strategic partnership with Yahoo! Canada in order to ensure that the annual conference and regional road shows continue to lead the travel industry in online marketing training and education with a focus on topics such as search engine optimization, online marketing strategies, search engine marketing, Web 2.0 awareness and other pertinent topics.

Online Revealed has led the Canadian travel industry over the past two years by producing a forum where individuals can receive practical, hands-on training and awareness.  The new strategic partnership with Yahoo! Canada, will enable Online Revealed to deliver more value and insight into the somewhat mysterious Internet marketing environment, specific to the tourism industry.

Canada is excited about the prospect of working hand in hand with Online Revealed in order to ensure that we continue to contribute to the education of Canada’s travel industry,” said Martin Byrne, director, Yahoo! Search Marketing Canada. “The Canadian travel industry is a main focus for Yahoo! Canada, and after the success of the 2006 and 2007 shows, we believe that Online Revealed is the right partner to assist us in raising awareness for online marketing best practices.”

Yahoo! Canada will coproduce Online Revealed Canada’s annual conference and regional events along with A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing. Yahoo! Canada will be involved in every aspect of the events including content generation, sponsorship initiatives and event marketing.

The 2008 online marketing show is planned for May 13-14, in Calgary, Alberta. The partnership will ensure that the attendees and sponsors of each event will leave with a full arsenal of online marketing tips, best practices and tools for success in a global online marketplace.
