Continuing education opportunities around the world, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) will provide a visual and educational overview of the latest in hospitality technology at the upcoming 92nd Annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show® (IH/M&RS).

For the second year, HFTP’s GUESTROOM 2010, a model hotel room featuring cutting-edge hotel technology, will be on display at IH/M&RS. HFTP will also be presenting several technology education sessions at the show. IH/M&RS will be held November 10-13 at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

“As the main resource on hospitality technology, HFTP remains committed in providing educational opportunities,” said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. “We are excited to exhibit the technologies featured in the 2007 version of GUESTROOM 2010 and to discuss important hospitality technology issues with industry professionals.”

The IH/M&RS version of GUESTROOM 2010 features over 50 of the latest and near-future technologies for the hotel room. The exhibit, located at booth No. 4163, will be on display Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At the exhibit, guests will experience a 3-D display without needing glasses, a bed without a mattress, a peep hole that provides a digital view of the hallway, a toilet that cleans itself and many more exciting technologies. The technologies were discovered following a worldwide, comprehensive search of existing, cutting-edge and future guestroom innovations. The 2007 version of GUESTROOM 2010 debuted in June at HITEC 2007 in Orlando, Fla.
