Pinnacle Communications Unveils New Brand Identity

Pinnacle Communications Corporation formally unveiled a new brand identity that represents a significant milestone in the company’s history and further signifies the company’s evolution to an IP applications-driven company.

The key technologies behind Pinnacle’s IP applications focus include all aspects of voice, data, video and software that together enhance system performance and improve the overall user experience.

Pinnacle has been driving a fundamental shift in its approach to the market that began with the global partnerships of Mitel and Alcatel-Lucent. The company reorganized itself around these important partnerships last year, and is now focused on four key market segment opportunities: hospitality, government, enterprise and healthcare. The company will deliver a wide spectrum of products, services and applications, including IP PBX, high-speed Internet, wireless, remote administration, IP TV, IP security, network services and unified messaging.

“Pinnacle Communications has been a fixture in the hospitality sector for years, and we intend to grow the value of our brand as we evolve the company,” said William Mitchell III, CHA, vice president of sales and marketing. “This evolution will allow Pinnacle to be better recognized for our unique applications, establish a stronger connection with our customers, and strengthen our overall position in the marketplace.”

The new brand identity involves overhauling the widely recognized Pinnacle golf ball logo that was created in 1991.  Pinnacle’s new logo illustrates the essence of peak performance and evolution, building on Pinnacle’s rich heritage, yet also signaling the new upward direction the company is headed today. It also includes a new tagline, “Pinnacle. Converge, Connect, Collaborate.™”  This tagline is Pinnacle’s unique brand promise and is designed to communicate what drives Pinnacle as a company, and what Pinnacle makes possible.

“‘Pinnacle. Connect, Collaborate, Converge.’ is a simple expression that declares who we are and what we do,” said Mitchell. “This is part of our heritage. Our mission at Pinnacle has always been to find and drive the next application – in hospitality, in education, in government and in healthcare. – to continuously challenge the way people communicate.”
