Onity announced the appointments of Bill Grant and Brad Schroer to management positions within the company’s North American hospitality sales team.
Onity, a leading provider of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Bill Grant will manage the eastern region field sales group, which consists of leading a six-person sales team, developing quantifiable sales goals and executing marketing tactics for increased sales productivity. Bill’s appointment with Onity is based on proven sales team leadership and experience gained while selling property management systems to the vertical hospitality market. A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, his thorough understanding of the complexities of hotel business and management is an asset to clients and to the Onity team.
Brad Schroer is responsible for the management of premier accounts, which focuses on maintaining and developing Onity’s relationship with brands such as Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, Accor, Starwood, Choice, Wyndham, Best Western, Carlson, USFS, LaQuinta and AAHOA. Brad’s previous experiences in business development and executive relationship management while at ProTech, a company that manufactures kiosks for vertical markets including the hospitality market, will complement his ability to be a trustworthy and knowledgeable manager for Onity’s hospitality technology sales team.
Onity’s sales force expansion was necessitated by the steady growth of the electronic access market worldwide, and the subsequent need for more efficient and secure operations. Both Grant and Schroer will report to Daniel Foxworth, director of hospitality sales for Onity.
