Dave Lutz Named to Passkey Board of Directors

Passkey, one of the world's leading online group reservation systems, announced the appointment of Dave Lutz, managing director of Velvet Chainsaw Consulting and former president of Conferon, Inc. and ExpoExchange, to the company's board of directors.

Greg Pesik, president and CEO of Passkey said, "As a long time client of Passkey, Dave's addition to the board provides us with a unique industry and customer viewpoint that will help our strategic direction and growth initiatives. Passkey will leverage his experience in building and growing a successful large service business and tap his extensive knowledge of the meeting and convention marketplace."

Commenting on his appointment to the Passkey board of directors, Lutz said, "I am excited about this opportunity to work with Passkey. Dave is a business improvement consultant that specializes in the meeting and event industry. His company assists organizations in realizing top and bottom line growth by delivering customer focused solutions in business development, best practice and process improvement, strategic planning and training. Dave is certified in lean processes and DFSS for Six Sigma. He is also a certified meeting professional (CMP), and is a frequent speaker and author, including having a regular column on performance excellence in Convene magazine.

Before venturing down the consulting road, Dave worked for Conferon Global Services, Inc. for more than 20 years, most recently as president of the two largest operating divisions - Conferon and ExpoExchange. In that capacity, he was responsible for overseeing more than 500 employees and 80 percent of the company's revenue.
