Inn-Phone®, a leading manufacturer and supplier of guestroom telephones to the hospitality industry, announced that The Gershwin Hotel in New York City is the first hotel to install Inn-Phone’s new, red TL-420 series phone to complement the hotel’s eclectic taste.

Parent company of Inn-Phone, Med-Pat®, first began using the red phones eight years ago in hospitals. Primarily used for hospital emergencies, the market for red phones in the hospitality industry seemed virtually non-existent. That’s when The Gershwin hotel came calling.
“The Gershwin Hotel is probably the most unique hotel I’ve ever been in or seen,” said Doug Zagha, president of Inn-Phone. “Most people think of phones as phones, but at The Gershwin, everything is viewed as art, and I couldn’t be happier that our phones are part of that concept.”

The phones feature a high luster, eurostyle ABS cabinet with a customized faceplate. The other model featuring Inn-Phones’ signature red color is the D520 series single line telephone.
