With a variety of exhibitors and education sessions, HITEC has something for everyone. HITEC 2008, a service of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), is June 16-19 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

"Club technology is constantly evolving and presenting new challenges for the industry," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. "HITEC 2008 allows club professionals to stay on top of the latest issues and discover emerging club technology."

Club Technology Education Sessions - Club professionals can take advantage of special HITEC 2008 education sessions on Wednesday and Thursday that explore technology challenges in the club industry. Sessions cover topics such as club technology trends, disaster recover methods, understanding Wi-Fi and more.

Club Technology Forum - This highly-interactive education forum is useful for those new to the club technology industry, as well as veterans. The forum is led by club industry experts and encourages a dialogue amongst attendees on today's current technology issues and real-life solutions. The forum focuses on club technology from the risk management perspective. The forum is Monday, June 16 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The forum is limited to non-vendor club professionals with an interest in or job responsibilities related to technology. HFTP verifies eligibility of each attendee and press attendance is prohibited. Individuals interested in participating in this forum must pre-register during the HITEC registration process under "Ticketed Events." It requires an additional registration fee from HITEC.

Club Technology Pavilion - To provide quality member services, clubs employ special technology such as member relationship and golf course management software. HITEC 2008 showcases these technologies and more in the Club Technology Pavilion. Located at booth 1451, the Club Technology Pavilion is a special area in the exhibit hall that includes hands-on displays of the latest in emerging club technology. The pavilion features club-specific software and products from approximately 15 club vendors, including ClubTec, Jonas Software, FOOD-TRAK/SCI, ClubSoft, OpenCourse Solutions and more.
