Addressing important hospitality financial industry topics, the June Club and Hotel Controllers Conference covers issues in technology, legality, fraud, human resources and more.

The conference is co-located with the 2008 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®) and produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®). It is scheduled for June 17-18 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
"The Club and Hotel Controllers Conference is a wonderful education opportunity," said Wendy Robinson, March conference attendee and controller at Oak Ridge Country Club. "The value of meeting such a fantastic group of financial professionals cannot be accomplished anywhere else."
Held twice-annually, the popular conference has an identical education program that includes general sessions and concurrent sessions with two industry-specific tracks, one for hotels and the other for clubs. Over 130 professionals attended the March conference held March 17-18 in San Diego, Calif.
General session topics deal with issues inhibiting personal and career growth, featuring topics on unlocking mental habits that inhibit careers and leadership, interpersonal skills and building relationships. Concurrent sessions cover various topics, like policies and procedures in the popular Hotel Session "Plug and Play Policies and Procedures" with Jerry Trieber, CPA, CHAE, HFTP Global director and director of internal audit at Hersha Hospitality Management, LP.
Online registration is available now for the Club and Hotel Controllers Conference. Attending the June Club and Hotel Controllers Conference gives attendees the opportunity to visit the HITEC exhibit hall. In addition to the expected 300+ companies exhibiting, the exhibit hall features the Club Technology Pavilion, GUESTROOM 2010 and the HITEC FAVE Awards. Attendees are also invited to the HITEC Welcome Reception on Monday, June 16. Club professionals can take advantage of special HITEC 2008 education sessions on Wednesday and Thursday that explore topics on club technologies that challenge the club industry.
