iBAHN, a global provider of digital entertainment and Internet solutions for the hospitality and meeting industries, announced that Thomas Duke has joined the company as chief technology officer.

Duke will be based at iBAHN’s digital convergence center of excellence in Stirling, Scotland.

“We are excited to have someone of Tom's caliber join the iBAHN executive team,” said David W. Garrison, iBAHN’s CEO. “His depth of experience in different technologies will be a considerable asset both to hoteliers and to our company as we continue to address their current and future challenges."

Prior to his new role at iBAHN, Duke served as chief technology officer for nearly five years at Memex Technology, where he was instrumental in the development and delivery of real-time data management tools. Additional experience includes serving as director of engineering at Sopheon (formerly Orbital), and several years in consultative roles at Andersen Consulting.

“I am looking forward to helping hoteliers make smart investment decisions about new technology opportunities,” said Duke. “The mix of established networking expertise and cutting-edge technology creates a top-class solution – the iBAHN service. It is my objective to positively contribute to keeping iBAHN’s solutions at the forefront of the industry.”
