VingCard®, a leading hospitality security provider and part of the ASSA ABLOY Hospitality Group, announced it will again contribute products and services to Give Kids The World, a charitable foundation dedicated to providing memorable, magical, cost-free experiences to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

VingCard began donating to the foundation nearly 15 years ago, and through its latest contribution the company agreed to supply and install Classic by VingCard electronic locks on 44 guestroom doors at the Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Fla.

“We are very proud to support this worthwhile cause by providing the resort with electronic door locks from VingCard,” said Marc Freundlich, president and CEO of ASSA ABLOY Hospitality North America. “The Give Kids The World Village is truly a place where children’s dreams are fulfilled, and it’s an honor to play even a small role in making that happen.”

Give Kids The World was founded by Henri Landwirth in 1986, and in 1989 the organization opened the Give Kids The World Village, a 70-acre, non-profit resort that provides cost-free fantasy vacations for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, including accommodations, donated attraction tickets, meals and more. With the help of its supporters, Give Kids The World has welcomed more than 89,000 families from all 50 states and more than 65 countries.

“At Give Kids The World, it is our mission to never turn away a child whose single wish is to visit the attractions of Central Florida,” said Neal McCord, general manager of Give Kids The World. “We are so grateful for supporters like VingCard because we simply could not fulfill this mission without contributions like theirs.”

Part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, VingCard is a world leader in developing locking systems for the hospitality industry, offering user-friendly security systems that meet the unique operational needs of hotels and resorts.
