Symon Communications Names Steven L. Gurley Vice President of Global Marketing and Business Development

Symon Communications, a global provider of digital signage solutions, announced that Steven L. Gurley has joined Symon as vice president of global marketing and business development.

In his new role, Mr. Gurley will oversee the creation and implementation of Symon’s new marketing strategy as well as assume operational oversight of Symon's creative content and subscription content businesses.

This new position marks a major milestone in a long-term relationship between Mr. Gurley and Symon. Mr. Gurley, through his former company, Pyrim Technologies, Inc. has been providing business and new market development services to Symon. His working relationship with Symon has helped Symon to attain over 20,000 digital signage placements in networks worldwide.

Prior to joining Symon, Mr. Gurley was the founder of Pyrim Technologies, Inc. an eight-year-old business development and new market development firm. Previous to founding Pyrim, Mr. Gurley spent 21 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where he held executive positions in business development and sales in both the United States and Europe with a focus on growing EDS' presence in the wireless industry.
