SynXis, the Sabre Holdings business that provides reservation management, distribution and technology services for hotels around the world, announced that Select Marketing Hotels, the European marketing company representing 200 hotels worldwide, has switched all of its properties, including the Eazires Hotelreservations group, to the RedX™ Distribution Management System in order to consolidate the management of all channels including GDS, IDS, CRO and bookings coming from their own Web site.
RedX connects their properties to thousands of travel agents and millions of consumers shopping online; properties are represented under the SQ chain code.
By managing all distribution through the RedX Control Center, Select Marketing Hotels is able to reduce the number of extranets being managed resulting in a tremendous time savings. In addition to the consolidation, Select Marketing Hotels sites system flexibility and ease of use as contributing factors in making the decision to switch.
