EZYield.com Sales Heat up as Travel Markets Cool

EZYield.com, one of the originators of automated online channel management solutions for the worldwide hospitality industry, has experienced an increased demand for its channel management products as the global economic markets continue to decline.

As deteriorating global economic conditions increasingly affect travel, hoteliers are looking to more cost-effective ways to attract guests - namely online travel agencies (OTAs) and travel Web sites. 
   
"A declining number of travelers to most markets requires hoteliers to be more aggressive with their marketing efforts, creating a larger need for third party OTA exposure. Hotel groups that previously didn’t have a need to work with an array of travel partners are now finding it necessary to work with as many sites as strategically possible. Without EZYield.com, that isn’t many," said Henry Danish, CEO of EZYield.com. “Over the last few weeks, our customer services division has seen an increase in the number of channels managed per hotel, with hoteliers’ portfolios from the Asia Pacific region adding an average of 25 percent more travel distribution Web sites, the Americas region adding an average of 19 percent more travel Web sites, and the European region adding an average of 14 percent more travel Web sites.”

“It is interesting to see hoteliers doing it differently this time,” said Edward St.Onge, president of EZYield.com. “Unlike after September 11th, hoteliers are looking away from dropping rates to get heads in beds, and are concentrating on smarter distribution and strategic value propositions for travelers. Hoteliers are calling us non-stop, trying to gain market share by geographical location. Since we carry almost 400 compatible travel sites, clients from the Americas are working our European site list, and vice versa.” 

EZYield.com adds more than 10 new Web sites a month to its available connectivity list. So many new hotels have taken advantage of the benefits EZYield.com provides that the company recently expanded its operations with a move to a new 7,000 square foot facility. The facility is specially designed to facilitate EZYield.com’s continued growth, with an expansive call center that will allow EZYield.com’s technical consultants to provide customer support to the company’s growing global clientele. The new office also houses other aspects of EZYield.com’s corporate operations, including sales and administration. 

With its new headquarters located in Winter Springs, Fla., EZYield.com maintains six regional offices around the world and serves clients in 59 countries on 5 continents.
