MICROS-Fidelio UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc. and a leading provider of information technology solutions to the hospitality and retail industries, announced that the Villa Park Stadium, home to premiership team Aston Villa Football Club, will deploy the MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS), mymicros.net and OPERA Sales & Catering (S&C) throughout the stadium's entire hospitality facilities.
The complete MICROS solution will go live at Villa Park in January 2009.
The fully integrated MICROS 9700 HMS solution allows the venue's hospitality management team to streamline its current processes, including venue transaction activity, and increase the speed-of-service for guests. The mymicros.net business intelligence portal addresses Villa Park's specific requirement for real-time, web-based reporting, allowing the premiership ground to make quick, critical business decisions with sales reporting, back-office audit and analysis, data warehousing, business intelligence and other business applications and content.
To round off the complete solution, MICROS OPERA S&C will manage the conference and banqueting requirements within the stadium, providing advanced customer relationship management tools which allows Villa Park to launch and monitor targeted marketing campaigns for improved levels of service and reporting.
"We require a hospitality management solution that is proven within the stadium marketplace and will grow with us as we expand our hospitality business," said Alison Plant, Villa Park Stadium. "MICROS has the technology and the experience to help us improve our overall guest experience and increase our hospitality sales."
"We are delighted to partner with the Villa Park Stadium," said Tim Brown, vice president, strategic accounts, MICROS-Fidelio UK Ltd.
