wagamama Selects MICROS to Expand Its Dining Operations

MICROS-Fidelio UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc., announced that wagamama, a chain of award-winning pan-asian inspired noodle restaurants, is implementing an extensive range of MICROS products.

The product suite wagamama is deploying includes MICROS Restaurant Enterprise Series (RES), mymicros.net, Mobile MICROS and the newest addition to the MICROS portfolio, myCentral -- a Web-based application that empowers enterprises to extend their business beyond the four walls of the restaurant by allowing customers to place orders via the Internet or a centralized call center.

The MICROS solution provides wagamama a true enterprise management system for its chain of 67 restaurants, including 65 in the United Kingdom and two in the United States. wagamama has deployed MICROS RES, a series of integrated applications including electronic point of sale (EPOS), restaurant operations and corporate applications, across its entire U.K. estate. In addition, mymicros.net, a content-rich Internet portal providing access to hosted applications for EPOS, back office and data warehousing, provides business intelligence and true enterprise control.
