Sabre’s hospitality business recently received multiple awards in recognition for individual expertise as well as the marketing results achieved for its customers.
On the individual level, Felix Laboy and Trevor Stuart-Hill were named to Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) Top 25 Extraordinary Sales and Marketing Minds of 2008, reinforcing Sabre’s focus on building one of the best teams in travel, including industry expertise in the strategic areas of revenue management and Internet marketing.
Laboy is president of E-site Marketing, the Internet marketing arm of Sabre. Stuart-Hill is vice president of revenue generation for SynXis, the Sabre Holdings business that provides complete hotel distribution and channel management solutions worldwide.
Felix is a 25-year industry veteran and founded E-site Marketing as one of the first Internet marketing companies specializing in online business solutions exclusively for the hospitality industry. He is considered a pioneer in the development and integration of many hospitality Internet marketing best practices and solutions that are today replicated and embraced industrywide. Under Laboy’s leadership E-site Marketing has created products and processes that continuously provide its customers with a strong return on investment.
E-site Marketing was recognized with seven Adrian Awards in the 52nd HSMAI Adrian Awards competition. The Adrian Awards is one of the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competitions globally, where awards are given for creative brilliance and best practices in hospitality, travel and tourism-related marketing. The awards showcase industry achievers and results that have demonstrated strong return on investment (ROI) across all sectors of the hospitality industry.
The Adrian Awards were given to E-site Marketing for creating outstanding Web sites for the following:
While Laboy is focused on Internet marketing, Stuart-Hill is one of the foremost experts in hospitality revenue management. Stuart-Hill holds designations as a certified professional pricer (CPP) from the Professional Pricing Society and certified revenue management executive (CRME) from HSMAI. He recently co-authored a textbook on the principles and practices of revenue management for the real world. This deep insight into revenue management benefits SynXis customers both in terms of Stuart-Hill’s personal expertise as well as his leadership for the team of agency and revenue management consulting professionals who provide proactive revenue optimization and distribution solutions for select properties.
“This combined recognition proves what I have come to know as well as what our customers are finding out – that Sabre has one of the strongest teams in hospitality,” said Greg Webb, chief marketing officer for Sabre Holdings. ”The insight and expertise, the innovation, the incredible energy of this team combined with the investments we have been putting into the hospitality space over the last five years is making the difference not just for our business, but for our customers’ business, and I am pleased and proud that this team is getting the recognition they have well earned.”
HSMAI will pay tribute to Laboy and Stuart-Hill and the team at E-site Marketing during the 19th annual HSMAI Adrian Awards show – a gala black-tie dinner to be held on Jan. 26, 2009 at the New York Marriott Marquis, with an expected attendance of 1,000 hospitality, travel and tourism industry and marketing executives.
