QSR Automations Showcases Revolutionary In-Store and Online Guest Management Solutions at FS/TEC 2009

QSR Automations®, a leading provider of in-store and online connected technology solutions for hospitality businesses worldwide, will showcase its newest product innovations at the 2009 International Foodservice Technology Exposition (FS/TEC), February 4 - 7 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

In addition to the extensive online capabilities now available from the applications within QSR’s ConnectSmart® Hospitality Automation Solution, the exhibit will feature QSR’s new fully integrated ConnectSmart QuoteBoss™ software for providing accurate quote times for carryout orders. 

With QSR’s ConnectSmart solution, any Web content can be made available at any kitchen or hostess station in the restaurant.  Users of QSR’s ConnectSmart Kitchen (CSK) graphical software can take advantage of Web-based technology for such innovative applications as an online recipe book.  Online reporting and online help capabilities are also available within the CSK, QSR’s ConnectSmart Hostess seating and wait list management software, as well as QSR’s ConnectSmart Reservations software. 

With QSR’s ConnectSmart WebAhead™ and ConnectSmart WebReserve™, restaurants give their guests the ability to join the wait list or make a reservation through the Web, rather than tying up guest and store personnel time with telephone calls to the restaurant.  Using QSR’s comprehensive ConnectSmart solution, operators can show their guests accurate wait times in real time, as well as suggest additional reservation times if the guest’s requested time is not available.  With WebAhead and WebReserve, operators also protect their brand, their guests and their guest data because activity is managed through the restaurant’s own Web site and own guest database.  Available via an economical, fixed monthly subscription fee per restaurant, WebAhead and WebReserve help operators to maximize guest convenience while growing online call aheads and online reservations without escalating costs for the increased guest counts.

Partnering with the leading casual dining companies for over a decade, QSR first revolutionized kitchen automation for table service restaurants with the ePic® Kitchen Management Solution, including the ePic Kitchen Display Software (ePic KDS).  Now adding to QSR’s sophisticated kitchen automation hardware and software solution sets, the new integrated QuoteBoss software is available at no additional charge to any user of QSR’s ePic KDS or CSK. 

Using cook time data in combination with the real-time status from the kitchen, restaurants can rely on QSR’s QuoteBoss to ensure their carryout guests receive an accurate quote time when placing to go orders.  A Microsoft® Windows® client, QuoteBoss can run on any Windows computer within the store network, including point-of-sale terminals.
