MICROS-Fidelio UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc., and leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, announced its partnership with Goals Soccer Centres PLC, a premier operator of 30 next-generation five-a-side soccer centers across the United Kingdom.

After an extensive evaluation, Goals Soccer Centres has decided to implement the MICROS Restaurant Enterprise Series (RES), mymicros.net and myinventory across its enterprise.

The MICROS solution provides Goals Soccer Centres a true enterprise management system that will improve efficiency and provide centralised control across the entire organization.  MICROS RES is a series of integrated applications including electronic point of sale (EPOS), restaurant operations and corporate applications.
Mymicros.net, a content-rich Internet portal providing access to hosted applications for EPOS, back office and data warehousing, will provide Goals Soccer Centres with business intelligence and true enterprise control.  Integrated with mymicros.net is myinventory, which enables Goals Soccer Centres to centrally manage its inventories at all 30 locations.

Bill Gow, finance director for Goals Soccer Centres said, “MICROS has been an excellent IT partner.  They have shared their wealth of knowledge with us, and have helped us implement the perfect solution for our business.  The MICROS solution will enable us to manage our sites centrally and will improve our reporting capabilities.  It will also improve our efficiency and profitability estatewide, by streamlining our operations.  We are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with MICROS as MICROS assists us with our growth plans.”

Tim Brown, vice president, strategic accounts MICROS EAME said, “We are delighted that Goals Soccer Centres has selected our world-class solution.   This partnership has allowed MICROS to become an extension of the Goals Soccer Centre organization and we look forward to supporting its future growth.”
