The Rainmaker Group, a world leader in automated revenue management software and services to the multifamily housing and gaming hospitality industries, announced that Annie-Laurie McCulloh is joining the company as vice president for LRO Business Consulting.

Rainmaker’s revolution LRO™ multifamily revenue optimization system maximizes revenue from apartment lease rents.

“Annie-Laurie’s extensive knowledge of the multifamily industry and revenue management project implementations ensures that Rainmaker’s future rollouts will be professionally handled and exceed client expectations,” said Tammy Farley, principal of The Rainmaker Group.  “She brings a unique perspective to the position having actually helped build systems and being responsible for making pricing decisions for thousands of units using revolution LRO.  Rainmaker and its clients will definitely benefit from her professionalism and expertise.”

McCulloh served as assistant vice president, pricing and revenue management for Archstone, a respected leader in multifamily operations. While there, she was responsible for all pricing and revenue management decisions for over 40,000 units in New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, Atlanta, Florida and Southern California communities.

“I see huge growth potential in the multifamily industry,” McCulloh said.  “There is a great need for automated revenue optimization, especially now when it is more important than ever to use data-based, non-emotional pricing to drive consistent, solid pricing practices.  Rough seas make strong sailors and in 2009 the operators with the best tools will be successful.”  A graduate of the University of Georgia with a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematical Sciences, she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Birmingham-Southern College. McCulloh graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a two-time winner of the Operational Support Award at Archstone.

revolution LRO’s multifamily pricing methodology enables rapid development of rate optimized pricing strategies that take into account such factors as:

  • Availability
  • Seasonality
  • Renewal rents
  • Renewal pace
“Optimal pricing is essential to success in the multifamily housing industry; many leading firms credit revolution LRO with a lease rent lift of three to five percent, which is very attractive to multifamily owners and fee managers,” said Bruce Barfield, president of The Rainmaker Group.

Since Rainmaker is an independent revenue management specialist, revolution LRO can exchange data with systems from every major third-party property management systems company to automate the pricing process.
