NORTHWIND-Maestro PMS, provider of Maestro™ enterprise property management hotel software and reservation software solutions for the hospitality industry, announced Maestro PMS user The Resort At Port Ludlow was honored by Condé Nast Traveler readers who voted it to the magazine’s 2009 Gold List.

The Condé Nast Traveler Gold List identifies and scores the best and most frequently cited hotels, resorts and cruise lines from the Condé Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards.

“My staff and I thank Conde’ Nast readers for naming The Resort at Port Ludlow to the prestigious 2009 Gold List,” said Paul Wolman, general manager.  “Our professional guest-centric service was certainly a factor in our selection.  Our team works closely with guests and we use the most advanced PMS and customer relationship management tools from NORTHWIND-Maestro to support our personalized guest service policies and online booking process.”  The Resort at Port Ludlow is situated on picturesque Ludlow Bay on Puget Sound, with views of the Cascades and The Olympic Mountains that attract visitors from around the world.

“Our Maestro Property Management Suite effortlessly provides the 360-degree guest view that we need to be able to provide exceptional personal service,” said Wolman.  “About 50 percent of our reservations originate on the Internet and we are upgrading our current booking engine to Maestro’s integrated ResEze Web booking technology to address the emerging guest demands for convenient self-service over the Internet.  ResEze will enable our guests to easily book rooms in real time and select unique golf and travel packages directly from our hotel Web site.”  Maestro PMS offers dynamic packaging capabilities and the enhanced Web Connection suite features the ResWave booking engine which enables guests and groups to not only book rooms – but also activities and amenities like spa appointments and dining reservations for increased incremental profit.

Golf Digest and GolfWeek magazines ranked the Port Ludlow Golf Course as, "One of the best places to play." Esquire magazine called it, "The most scenic in the world."  Implementing a PMS integrated real-time booking engine like ResEze or ResWave on a hotel Web site to complement third-party distribution channels helps independent properties compete with larger hotel chains, boost reservations, reduce costs and enhance guest loyalty.  Guests booking their stay at the high-touch full service Resort at Port Ludlow can use ResEze to tailor their visit online before they arrive with attractive revenue generating packages and promotional offers that include golf, meals and sea plane transportation to Port Ludlow.

Warren Dehan, president of NORTHWIND-Maestro PMS, said, “The Resort at Port Ludlow clearly sets the highest standards for guest service in the competitive luxury boutique hotel market and Mr. Wolman and his team use Maestro very effectively to surpass guest expectations.”  Dehan noted that the Maestro Suite also enables operators to maximize revenue with cross-channel yield management that is fully integrated into the system’s 20 modules on a single-image database that provides the most productive and efficient hotel operating environment.  “Maestro’s objective is to enable its clients to be as successful as possible while providing tools that make award winning service within every operator’s reach,” Dehan said.  “The Resort at Port Ludlow has certainly earned its position on the Gold List.”

NORTHWIND-Maestro has worked closely with thousands of independent operators to develop functionality that enables properties to provide unsurpassed guest-centric service with a high level of ease of use to ultimately increase efficiency and staff productivity.

NORTHWIND-Maestro PMS will be in booth No. 240 at HITEC June 22-25.
