EZYield.com and SoftBrands Commence Offering of Integrated Software Suite Through New Global Technology Partnership

EZYield.com, the originator of automated online channel management solutions for the worldwide hospitality industry, announced the launch of a custom-developed integration platform for SoftBrands’ global property management systems (PMS), which include Epitome V3, V4 & V5, Medallion, and PORTfolio.

Through the integration, SoftBrands’ PMS clients now have the ability to utilize EZYield.com’s full suite of automated distribution and reservation solutions, which include RoomRez, GDSConnect and the EZYield.com channel management system, to seamlessly connect the PMS to every electronic distribution source their hotel uses.
“Property management systems are the best place to centralize and streamline operations because of the volume of information that can be fed into, and derived from a single database,” said Ed St. Onge, president of EZYield.com. “With this partnership, we now have the ability to pull rate and inventory settings directly from the SoftBrands PMS to push to all of our OTA and traditional wholesalers, which currently include 430 sites. We can also push reservations from any of our travel partners compatible with our reservation delivery product back to the PMS. Our WBE and GDS can push and pull ARI and bookings seamlessly, so it is a very powerful and efficient operation.”
While many current SoftBrands clients already use EZYield.com for channel management distribution, the new integrated platform provides hoteliers with the ability to automate and create technological efficiencies that were not previously available. The integrated software suite consists of three additional products: RoomRez, a unique reservations technology for rates and inventory restrictions that is tied directly to a company’s or property’s Web site; GDSConnect, a two-way link from the PMS to the global distribution systems (GDS); and EZYield.com, the original channel management software with the industry’s largest number of connections to OTAs and third-party reservation services.
