President and CEO Digby Davies announced that Darren Temple has joined PSAV® Presentation Services, a leading supplier of audiovisual and event technologies to the hospitality industry, as executive vice president of global sales.

With a reputation built over the past 20 years with the Freeman Companies for a strategic customer approach, Temple has extensive experience in multichannel sales management, business development, sales administration and strategic partnerships.

“We are all thrilled to have Darren join PSAV,” Davies said. “His background makes him uniquely qualified to bring the PSAV story to life for more customers. A seasoned executive sales leader, Darren recognizes the opportunities to make a positive difference for our PSAV customers and employees.”

Most recently Temple served with Freeman as senior vice president of sales administration and branch sales where he was responsible for increasing market share through a more comprehensive and strategic selling approach across the enterprise.

“We’ve seen an increased customer interest in working with PSAV on a national and global basis,” Davies said. “Darren’s leadership will address this demand, and help us deliver a consistent customer experience across the enterprise.”

Davies said he believes that Temple will empower the company with a strategy of diversified growth and solutions, especially now that he is engaged at PSAV in fostering strong relationships with large association, corporate and hotel-chain customers.

When asked about his new role, Temple said, “I look forward to fully leveraging PSAV’s unmatched distribution network to allow more customers greater access to PSAV products and services.”

Temple is active with several industry organizations, including PCMA, IAEE and InfoComm.
