ClickSquared, a leading interactive relationship marketing firm, announced the appointment of Robert King as general manager, travel and hospitality.

As general manager of ClickSquared’s travel and hospitality group, King is responsible for working with clients in North America, Asia and Europe to help define and implement highly targeted marketing programs that increase ROI.

“Bob’s extensive experience in the travel industry will only strengthen the offerings we can deliver to help resorts better market to their valued guests,” said Wayne Townsend, CEO of ClickSquared. “He will play a key role in helping us develop innovative new programs for the travel and hospitality market that will enable our clients to capture and respond to guest preferences in a timely, targeted fashion.”

Prior to joining ClickSquared, King was senior vice president at Intrawest ULC in Vancouver, BC, where he led the corporate marketing services organization, including fully integrated CRM and Web marketing initiatives, which were the primary drivers of resort revenue. Before that, King held marketing and senior management positions at Continental Airlines, Alitalia Airlines and Neat Group, Inc., which is a pioneer in dynamic packaging for the travel and hospitality industry.

"The addition of Bob King deepens an already impressive bench with additional industry expertise, raising the caliber of the team CEO Wayne Townsend has put together," said Bill Burgess, managing partner of ABS Ventures, a ClickSquared board member and investor. "We continue to find strong value in ClickSquared as it builds its interactive relationship programs for clients in the travel and hospitality, non-profit, banking and financial services and cable and telecommunications industries."
