EZYield.com Provides Complete Distribution Solution For Australian Hotel Group, Metro Hospitality Group

EZYield.com, an originator of automated online distribution management solutions for the worldwide hospitality industry, has expanded its two-year-old partnership with Australia-based Metro Hospitality Group to include a complete distribution solution for the entire chain.

Having provided channel management software for six of Metro’s hotels since 2007, EZYield.com has now been selected to provide comprehensive technological distribution services for the entire 14-property portfolio, with the rollout beginning in April 2009.

In addition to EZYield.com’s channel management software, Metro Hospitality Group will implement EZYield.com’s RoomRez booking engine to provide real-time functionality for its corporate Web site. The chain will also utilize EZYield.com’s new GDSConnect application, and has switched global distribution system (GDS) suppliers in order to fully realize the benefits GDSConnect offers.

By fully integrating all three facets of EZYield.com’s distribution solution, hoteliers have the ability to amend rates or inventory through the booking engine and have that information automatically published to the GDS and their contracted online forward distribution channels. If connected to one of the many supported PMS interfaces, updates can occur with real-time availability across all distribution channels.
