TeleAdapt Names New U.S. Business Development Manager

TeleAdapt Inc., a leading worldwide supplier of connectivity products for the hospitality industry, announced the appointment of Jeff Soares as the U.S. business development manager.

Based in Sacramento, Calif., Soares will be responsible for introducing TeleAdapt’s range of connectivity solutions that enhance the guest’s in-room entertainment experience, to hotels throughout the West Coast.

“In-room entertainment is going through a paradigm shift right now; hoteliers are seeing an increase in their in-room entertainment options for both new and guest-delivered content,” said Neil Betterton, TeleAdapt Americas vice president.  “Despite the global economic climate, hotels in the West Coast continue to feel the demand to supply their guests better, more forward-thinking technology.

“I’m excited to bring Jeff on board to further educate hotels on the entertainment trends of today’s guests and introduce affordable, reliable products that will make a positive impact on their repeat business metrics as well as an increase in their RevPAR.”

Soares brings to TeleAdapt a wealth of experience in technical design and complex IP/Internet knowledge, most recently working as a technical sales consultant for AT&T. He also has held account management positions with Corsa Network Technologies/SBS Networking and MCI, Inc, both in San Jose, Calif.
