Effective November 1, Cairns is based in Singapore where she will be responsible for YTL Hotel's worldwide marketing and public relations.

With more than 20 years of experience in successfully launching public relations initiatives at luxury hotels and restaurants in Europe, Asia and North America, Cairns brings with her an impressive portflio of successes in the luxury hospitality market.

Most recently, Cairns was with Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles as director of public relations for close to six years. During this period, she positioned the property as the number one entertainment hotel in the region and culminating in 2007 when she received a special award at the Four Seasons' annual marketing conference for her outstanding contributions in media exposure during the film, television and music awards season in Los Angeles.

This is a homecoming for Cairns who, before moving to North America, worked for a number of luxury hotel companies in South-East Asia including Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Regent International.
