Flyte Systems, a leading provider of airport travel information displays and digital signage content for the hospitality industry, digital signage companies, convention centers and related businesses, announced its real-time airline flight information displays are now being used by Oracle at its corporate headquarters and by Lockheed Martin at its Bethesda, Md. training facility.

Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) installed FlyteBoard in the customer lounge of its Redwood Shores, Calif., corporate headquarters to display arrival and departure information for flights at nearby San Francisco International Airport.  Oracle's FlyteBoard monitor shows flight times, gate information and status for all domestic and international carriers.

Lockheed Martin is utilizing Flyte Systems’ FlyteBoard to display flights at Washington Dulles International, Baltimore Washington International, and Ronald Regan International Airports.  They also installed a FlytePass kiosk that provides their visitors and traveling staff with boarding pass printing and real-time flight information for all three airports.

“As carriers trim their flight schedules, it is essential that travelers have accurate information to reach their destinations on time,” said Scott Triphahn, vice president of Flyte Systems.  “A missed flight can cause much longer delays than in the past.  Flyte Systems’ subscription-based airport information displays, boarding pass printing, and in-room television flight information offer easy-to-use options that guests, staff and visitors value.”
What sets Flyte Systems apart from PC-based applications is the ability to post accurate, real-time airline flight arrival and departure information, not FAA-regulated scheduled departure times that do not list delays caused by air traffic control, aircraft maintenance, crew availability and weather.

Flyte Systems offers a suite of products that serves the traveling public:  FlyteBoard, FlytePass, FlyteChannel and FlyteTouch.

FlyteBoard is a wall, floor or ceiling-mounted high-definition, flat panel screen for lobbies, restaurants, bars and other public areas, displaying flight information for one or more airports.

FlytePass combines FlyteTouch with free, secure boarding pass printing and can be provided standalone or neatly packaged in an optional all wood kiosk or integrated metal kiosk, to match your décor.

FlyteChannel permits guests to view live airport flight information conveniently and comfortably from their in-room televisions.

FlyteTouch enables individual guests to search flight information using an interactive touch screen that displays real-time flight arrivals and departures for one or more airports.

Many hotel properties also use Flyte Systems’ applications to increase revenue with innovative marketing approaches for distressed travelers.
