The Peabody Orlando, a four-star, four-diamond, 891-room, 57,000 sq. ft. flexible function space hotel on Orlando's famed International Drive, announced that it has adopted Passkey as its online group reservations system.
"We are installing Passkey to further elevate the level of service Peabody provides its meeting planners," said Barbara Bowden, CRDE, corporate director of revenue management for Peabody Hotels. "Passkey enables us to provide state-of-the-art online capabilities to the nation's meeting planners. "We did the research, and found that Passkey, the leader in group reservations management systems, is the perfect match for us and provides our meeting planners the sophisticated online tools they need to efficiently and conveniently create memorable meetings."
"With The Peabody Orlando turning to Passkey, they are maximizing their innovative, exemplary Peabody Service Excellence® image," said Greg Pesik, Passkey's president and CEO. "They continue to show their commitment to their meeting planners by offering them the best online tools in the market. We welcome The Peabody Orlando to the Passkey network."
Some of the Passkey benefits for meeting planners include:
- Online hotel reservations against contracted room blocks
- 24/7 access to real-time pick-up reports
- Reduced book arounds
- Minimized attrition exposure
- Seamless integration with their preferred registration system
- Passkey's Room List Manager: a tool that meeting planners can use to upload rooming lists at their convenience into designated room blocks and track pick-up more accurately.
Passkey will debut at The Peabody Memphis in early 2007 and is being considered for The Peabody Little Rock at a later date.
