Genares Worldwide Reservations Services (Genares), an industry-leading reservations services company, fortified its reputation as one of the fastest growing reservation services providers by signing with The MAve Hotel in Midtown Manhattan to provide global distribution services and online booking.

Partnered with Genares, The MAve Hotel gains access to a suite of proprietary Genares technologies providing seamless connectivity to the global distribution System (GDS) and access to over 600,000 travel agents using SABRE, Galileo, Worldspan and Amadeus.  In addition, a custom booking engine furnished by Genares has been integrated into the hotel Web site.

The MAve, located in New York City, is the latest of several boutique hotels to join Genares following the 2007 partnership between Genares and Desires Hotels, headquartered in Miami, Fla. Desires Hotels specializes in boutique lifestyle hotels with a portfolio spanning the United States and the Caribbean.

Doug Carrillo, senior vice president of sales and marketing with Tecton Hospitality and Desires Hotels, is confident The MAve will see the same success with Genares as other partnered hotels.

"Desires Hotels promises guests unrivaled service, a philosophy we extend to our partnerships. With Genares, our hotels have access to sophisticated tools for increasing revenue and improving the customer booking experience," he said. "All of our hotels that have contracted with Genares have seen a boost in revenue, and I'm certain The MAve will as well."

The Genares platform was developed in 2005 to deliver customers access to an open-ended and customizable GDS operable entirely in-house without third-party reliance. In four short years, the platform has grown to serve more than 3,000 clients, including nearly 2,800 hotels, making Genares one of the fastest growing reservations services providers in the world.

"Our rapid growth indicates that hoteliers and hotel management companies are looking for comprehensive GDS, CRS, and PMS connectivity all managed through one source," said Eugene Harris, president of Genares.
