TransPerfect, one of the world’s largest privately held providers of language services and related technology, announced it has been chosen by Marriott International for an ongoing technology and services agreement that supports Marriott’s international Web sites.

As one of the world’s largest and most respected hotel companies, Marriott has been communicating with customers in a range of languages for many years. By deploying TransPerfect's GlobalLink™ Localization Suite technology, Marriott is able to provide a robust booking experience for international markets in a cost and time-efficient manner.

Marriott’s ongoing online global strategy includes expanding its international Web sites by translating millions of words for markets in Germany, China, Latin America, Japan, Korea, Brazil and France. Today, Marriott's Web site is the world’s seventh largest online consumer retail site.
