The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) is hosting a variety of industry events in 2010, ranging from fundraisers, industry trade shows and annual meetings of the industry’s top executives, including:

  • January 25-27, 2010
    The Americas Lodging Investment Summit
    Hilton San Diego Bayfront - San Diego, Calif.
    ALIS, one of the largest hospitality investment conferences, benefiting the educational, research, and training missions of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Education Foundation (AH&LEF).

    Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association (IHLA) 22nd Annual Hospitality Dinner Gala
    Chicago Hilton & Towers - Chicago, Ill.
    IH&LA’s annual black tie event coincides with AH&LA’s birthday and birthplace.
  • March 15-16, 2010
    AH&LA Legislative Action Summit
    J.W. Marriott - Washington, D.C.
    LAS connects members with influential policy makers on Capitol Hill and the White House to network and develop legislative solutions for pertinent industry issues.  Major topics on this year’s agenda include pushing H-2B Visa relief, revising ADA restrictions and spurring initiatives dedicated to greening the hospitality industry.

    AH&LEF Dinner Tribute honoring Stewart Bainum, founder, Choice Hotels International

    Stewart Bainum will receive AH&LA’s Hospitality Heritage Award, the most prestigious honor the association bestows upon an individual, family or company. The award recognizes hoteliers for their leadership and commitment to the growth and prosperity of the lodging industry and their contributions to the general community.

    AH&LA Summer Summit
    AH&LA’s Summer Summit draws members and nearly 20 committees converged for four fast-paced days of business, knowledge and networking.  AH&LA recognizes notable industry professionals and properties with the annual Stars of the Industry Awards.

    AH&LEF Golf Classic
    The Broadmoor - Colorado Springs, Colo.
    All avid golfers are invited to attend this annual event, raising vital funds for industry research and scholarship initiatives benefiting the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation.

    AH&LA HotelPAC Broadmoor Classic Golf Tournament
    The Broadmoor - Colorado Springs, Colo.
    As one of HotelPAC’s top-earning events, the golf tournament is one of the most successful methods for raising vital funds which support industry-friendly candidates for federal office.

    AH&LA Fall Conference held in conjunction with the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (November 13-16, 2010)
