iBAHN, a global provider of IP-based information and entertainment solutions for the hospitality industry, announced today that Jennifer Ranno has joined the company as its vice president of sales for the Americas region, effective immediately.

She comes to the company with nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality sales, ranging from hotels and conventions to technology. She will be based in the company’s Americas regional office in Denver.

“We are delighted to welcome a sales executive of Jennifer’s experience and background into this key role for the Americas region,” said Gregory G. Hodges, president.  “Jennifer has the knowledge and experience that we  believe will help to lead our region to new heights.”

Ms. Ranno joins the company following a nine-year stint at SynXis, a Sabre Holdings company, where she held increasingly responsible positions including managing director of sales (West Coast) and vice president of accounts for the Americas.  In these roles, she was successful in driving top sales results while managing large teams in the field.  Additionally, she served as a member of the company’s leadership team, with a strategic focus on the re-organization and launch efforts of Sabre Hospitality Solutions.  Prior to SynXis, Ranno served as a national sales manager for Westin Hotels/Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

“iBAHN is well-known as the global industry leader in IP-based hospitality solutions, with an impressive customer base,” said Ms. Ranno. “I strongly believe that ETVi and iMEDIA – iBAHN’s newest IPTV solutions – will be game-changers for our industry, and I am excited to lead the team that will drive these new solutions into the market.”
