MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS), a provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that Ruby Tuesday, Inc. has expanded its enterprise solution with MICROS iCare for Coupon Management.

Ruby Tuesday, a long-time MICROS customer that utilizes MICROS RES 3700 POS in all of its locations, as well as at the enterprise, has outgrown its homegrown coupon management solution.  As one of the largest chain restaurants in the United States, Ruby Tuesday demands an application that is able to keep pace with its marketing group’s requirement for rapid deployment of new coupon offers chain wide.

MICROS iCare delivers the tools to allow Ruby Tuesday to deploy bulk coupon offers as well as create individual offers for its So Connected members from one enterprise database.  The entire bundled application provides Ruby Tuesday with an efficient, user friendly solution.  With the ability to validate item specific coupon rules at the time of redemption, Ruby Tuesday has increased control and detailed reporting, all at the enterprise level.  And MICROS iCare is seamlessly integrated with the point-of-sale to provide Ruby Tuesday with one comprehensive solution that is managed centrally from the Enterprise.

“MICROS has been a great technology partner as our business has grown and has truly been fundamental to Ruby Tuesday’s success,” explained Nick Ibrahim, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.  “We look forward to a strong and expanded partnership with MICROS as its technology allows us to continue to offer our customers an unmatched dining experience.”

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Ruby Tuesday with the addition of MICROS iCare,” asserted Ed Rothenberg, Vice President of Restaurant Sales and Strategies, MICROS Systems.  “MICROS takes pride in being more than a point-of-sale provider, offering Ruby Tuesday a complete enterprise solution.”
