Cendyn, a leading single-source provider of turnkey online marketing solutions for hotel companies and destinations around the globe, announced its partnership with the Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau (PBC CVB) and successful implementation of a multitiered marketing initiative.

The online campaigns delivered over 150,000 new visitors to the CVB’s Website, which resulted in significant conversion of hotel bookings and increased revenues for Palm Beach County businesses.
“Cendyn's experience in hotel and destination marketing, and 360-degree marketing approach allowed us to develop an effective, comprehensive online marketing campaign that more than exceeded our expectations,” said Shirley Talbert, vice president of marketing/communications of the Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau.  “Cendyn’s marketing creativity was successful in generating a much greater awareness of Palm Beach County as a travel destination and the campaign continues to attract new visitors to our area, and has been especially impactful to our member hotels.”
Charles Deyo, president of Cendyn, said, “Our marketing platform supports behavioral and other advanced targeting methodologies. This capability provides extensive reach to a targeted audience on the Internet that is most likely to purchase travel to Palm Beach County. Consumers were directed to specific pages within the CVB’s site that converted to bookings for many of the member hotels.”
Between December 2009 and June 2010, Cendyn’s Palm Beach County campaign produced more than 74 million Website impressions.  Further leveraging the PBC program, Cendyn also developed unique campaigns for many of the member properties to convert additional traffic.
Cendyn’s three-tiered campaign for Palm Beach County CVB includes:
  • Tier I – Create awareness of PBC with rich-media display ads focused on leisure, eco-adventure travel and group business.
  • Tier II – Raise awareness and stimulate business with retail/hotel promotions for rebates and discounts.
  • Tier III – Focus on cooperative marketing programs for 50 co-branded CVB member hotels that include ‘book-it’ links to each hotel.

“Summer is a low season for Florida and our campaign was a very effective way for area hotels to pick up business in cooperation with the CVB,” said Deyo.  Participating hotels included The Breakers, PGA National Resort, and The Boca Raton Resort and Club.  "Palm Beach County CVB and its member hotels are the beneficiaries of the recent advances in Internet marketing. At Cendyn, we are continuously focused on leveraging the latest in technology and the Internet to produce bottom line results for our clients. We are proud of our work with PBC and expect the campaigns to continue to drive more and more business to the county."
