LodgeNet Announces 2006 Top Performing Studio, Movie Titles for Guest Entertainment

LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation, one of the world’s largest providers of interactive television and broadband solutions to the lodging industry, announced its list of top 10 movies for guest entertainment in 2006.

LodgeNet serves over 6,000 hotel properties worldwide giving approximately 300 million travelers access to hundreds of titles during their stays in 2006. 

The following were the most viewed video on demand Hollywood movies in properties served by LodgeNet during the year:
  • The Da Vinci Code        
  • The Break-Up  
  • Failure to Launch         
  • Walk the Line     
  • The Devil Wears Prada       
  • Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest    
  • RV         
  • Mission Impossible III         
  • Fun with Dick & Jane          
  • Ice Age: The Meltdown  

LodgeNet also announced that Twentieth Century Fox was the top-performing studio for 2006 based on gross receipts in LodgeNet-served hotel rooms.  This was the second year out of the last three that Fox topped the ratings.
