Defero3 Announces an Agreement with IHG for of Hosted PBX Solutions

Defero3 has signed an agreement with IHG to be an approved communications supplier of hosted voice solutions.

The agreement will offer preferred pricing and services for telecommunication standards and requirements for today’s hospitality marketplace to the owners of IHG franchised properties in the United States and Canada.  The service can be easily installed, centrally managed by the hosting center and can reduce visits by technicians. 

Over the past decade, PBX revenues have evaporated across the hotel industry and hotel owners have requested a telecommunication solution to reduce the high costs associated with telephony services. 

Tom Guziak, CEO of Defero3, said, “Our hosted voice solutions with its leading-edge technology will enable IHG properties to reduce expenses which were associated with the legacy technology of the past.  With the replacement of premise-based PBX equipment, energy-related costs are reduced with far less equipment at the hotel.  In addition, monthly operating costs are reduced as properties can take advantage of VoIP long distance calling with the Defero3 unlimited North American dialing plan. The Defero3 solution includes IP phones for staff with direct dial-in calling features as well as, call accounting, maintenance and training.  With the Defero3 solution, hotels will maintain the same enhanced services for guests including access to hotel services, voice mail, do not disturb and wake-up notifications. Guziak said, “Defero3’s solution will work with IP phones or existing analog phones in the guestroom and still utilize the advantages of VoIP.”
