Utell Hotels & Resorts has bolstered its 200-plus Italian portfolio by renewing UNA Hotels & Resorts for a two-year representation and global commission processing services contract.

As a leading Italian operator of four-star business-oriented hotels, UNA Hotels & Resorts maintains 19 hotels with more than 2,000 rooms in Italy’s main cities under the brand UNA Hotels, along major Italian thoroughfares as UNAWAY Hotels, and in natural settings as UNA Resorts.

After first loading negotiated rates in the global distribution system (GDS) with Utell in 2009, UNA has become an evangelical Utell member, leveraging the power of Utell to drive bookings via the GDS that complement those coming directly through the hotels’ Website, according to Angelo La Riccia, sales and marketing director for UNA Hotels & Resorts.
