Aptech Computer Systems, Inc., a leading provider of hospitality software for business intelligence and enterprise financial accounting, announced it is celebrating 40 years of technology innovation with the delivery of a text analysis module that adds quantifiable guest sentiment data to its Execuvue® Business Intelligence System (BI).

Aptech also launched a new video with highlights from its two generations of service to hotel operators.

"Our years of hospitality experience give us an unparalleled depth of understanding of the hotel industry that positions us to identify future trends that can benefit our customers," said Aptech Vice President Cam Troutman.

“There is a continuing need for operators to see all of their important data in a single location.  Aptech provides this now with our Execuvue dashboards,” Troutman said.  "That essential data must encompass the operator’s company, its competitors and its customers."

For example, Execuvue can integrate:

  • My Company:  Internal performance metrics – occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, etc., with comparisons to plan and prior year.
  • My Competition:  External competitor metrics – STR comp. sets, indexes, etc.
  • My Customers:  Customer data from a mix of guest satisfaction scores pulled from online surveys, comment cards and written guest reviews mined and quantified using text analytics from travel and social media hotel rating sites.

In Aptech’s 40th anniversary video, Larry Collier, regional director of operations for HI Development Corp., praised Aptech's innovation and products,  "Being able to produce financial information at literally the click of a button - to be able to see where I'm at in terms of the financial performance of my hotel, where I need to be, and where I'm coming from - is invaluable in making decisions in today's economy."

Troutman noted that Aptech's video is as much a testament to its customers as it is a reflection on the company itself.  "This video illustrates a lifetime in the hospitality industry," he said.  "I hope our clients and customers enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it and being a part of this exciting industry."
