Rotana Selects Trust International’s Distribution Services for Middle East and North Africa Expansion

Rotana, a leading hotel management company in the Middle East and North Africa, announced the introduction of a new central reservation system (CRS) from Trust International, one of the world’s leading CRS providers and international hospitality partners.

Rotana will switch over to Trust on October 26, coinciding with the introducing of Rotana’s new global distribution (GDS) chain code, RO.

Commenting on this announcement, Omer Kaddouri, chief operating officer for Rotana, said, “It is indeed a milestone for Rotana to be managing its own private label central reservation system through our provider, Trust International, and this project allows us to have the proper infrastructure to manage our booking channels.”

Rotana currently manages 70 properties across the Middle East and North Africa and specifically in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Beirut, Kuwait, Syria, Sudan, Erbil, Qatar, Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. They are on a fast track for expansion with new properties currently under development in Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria and UAE.
